Geese v4.08 v4.09

Lucid Dreamer

Lucid Dreamer · Difficulty ★★☆
Updated: 2026-07-17 · All roles

🖼️ In-Game Visuals

💤

Appearance: Black-and-white dream aesthetic; distinct visual when active outside meeting.

Gameplay Examples: Dream-scan a corridor small egg, report “egg in XX hall — smash after meeting”; during Raven Hunt kite the edge and live the timer.

Counters: Quiet then hyper-precise location reports may be Lucid; fake movement to mislead; Raven should not roam if Lucid is watching.

🏆 Win Condition

Geese: Complete all tasks or vote out all non-Geese.

Ability

During the voting phase, enter a black-and-white dream world to walk the map (no wall phasing; no names/cosmetics; limited interactions). Can complete a couple of tasks per meeting and can push task victory while dreaming. Great for pre-meeting positions, task progress, and vent ejects. If a Raven is in play you may encounter them in the dream; during Raven Hunt you gain a short mobility burst to reposition. If you survive until the end of Raven Hunt, Geese win regardless of other conditions (v4.08 design). v4.09: can no longer smash Cuckoo eggs during meetings (out-of-meeting smashing unchanged).

💡 Tips

  • Quickly scan key areas: who is where, who is by vents
  • v4.09: do not plan on smashing Cuckoo eggs in meeting — call egg locations for others outside
  • Surviving Raven Hunt is priority — you are the Goose fail-safe
  • Report facts on return without outing yourself immediately
  • No names in dream — track colors/positions only

🎯 Playbook

Strategy: Prioritize sabotage spots and info players. After v4.09 you are no longer a meeting-time egg smasher — intel and Raven matchups matter more. In Raven Hunt, use the mobility burst and wall-hug routes; surviving the timer is a Goose win.

Map fit: Fits mid/large maps where meeting-time position checks matter. Poor fit: tiny maps with little intel value.

Meeting lines: ‘While in the meeting I checked the task area near XX and saw someone pass by but couldn’t ID.’

Common mistakes: Trying to smash Cuckoo eggs in meeting (v4.09 blocked); dying for intel during Raven Hunt; outing yourself with too-precise reports.
